One of our favorite movies here at the SDS is of course “FUBAR”, hell we even named a tour after it “Fugnar”, our BC rep Derek and I played Fubar for anyone that would watch while we cruised across Canada drinking “Pils”. So it is pretty epic to see the trailer for this one, looks like it is gonna be all time!

Our good friend Mary Walsh has a hilarious post on her blog about a contest Stale ran at Windell’s camp where kids had to color pictures of LNP for a chance to win his board. Check it out Here it’s definitely worth the view
Mikey chased LNP down in our Team Shootout edit, apparently he was just trying to tell him they were going to be sharing a part...
Empire Board shop in Montreal held a party to celebrate the shop’s 11th anniversary and premiere the new Videograss film “Bon Voyage” over the weekend that was truly one for the record books. Empire had everything up there; packed to capacity three level club, tons of hot girls, more pro snowboarders than you could count including Mikey Leblanc, LNP, Louif Paradis, and Alex Cantin who all have great parts in the film, and oh yeah, they had fu#%ing Naughty By Nature play the party.
Forester, Will, LNP, and LNP's friend Jay negotiate the streets of Montreal
Rome designer Mike Forester and I sped north Friday night and met up with Will Lavigne, LNP, and a few of their friends at a small bar on MTL’s infamous St. Catherine’s street. After weaving our way through a massive line of excited shred party-goers we finally got into the venue which was packed to capacity on all three floors. The dudes from Empire really know how to throw a party; our hats are off to these guys for sure. We ran into Mikey Leblanc who was fresh off a flight from SLC’s premier the night before, Louif Paradis and Alex Cantin, Greg Desjardins, Yan Dofin, Oli Croteau, David Melancon, Guillaume Morisette, and just about everyone else from the Quebec shred scene.
Alex, Louif, LNP, and Mikey fired up the crowd for Videograss
The Videograss movie is amazing once again. I don’t want to give to much away because you really have to see the ender for yourself, but ole Larry’s part is awesome even with a broken back. As I said earlier Louif and Alex’s parts are great, Darrel, and Jed’s are super sick, and for me I was stoked to see Doran Laybourne in there, just a couple years ago he almost died when some kook hit him at full speed with his snowmobile, people weren’t sure if he’d ever walk again let alone shred, so to see him shredding in “Bon Voyage” was epic to say the least. Go buy the movie.
I got to be honest, when I woke up Friday the last thing I thought I'd be seeing at the Videograss premiere was Naughty By Nature
After the film Naughty By Nature played the packed club, if you don’t know who Naughty By Nature is (and most of the kids there didn’t, infact LNP couldn’t name one song they sing when I asked him) look em up, they killed the place. They played all of their hits, and then covered pretty much every big rap song from the 90’s. The place was going crazy and at the end they had the entire stage packed with people popping bottles and spraying shit everywhere, it was great. Big thanks to Empire for hosting such an awesome party and getting everyone thinking of snow.
Some of the team guys have been at the office working on some new stuff, we just got a new point and shoot camera from Casio so we started playing around with it while they were here. I think some of the stuff is pretty funny. Keep checking back, the new website is going to drop any day now……
Our friend Tommy J from EasternBoarder/Windells just posted some Brocam shots of Larry and Stale skating at Windells while they were there for Rome week
We had a pretty damn good time in Bear filming Team Shootout. This security guard came down to bust us and give us shit, you may have heard of him before his name is Mikey Leblanc. Here’s the first of a couple outtakes we put together with him.
We’ve been out at Windell’s camp filming some stuff and hanging with the kids. Stale took a liking to Ollie the famous camp dog from Windell’s. Ollie and Stale spent hours practicing their spins……
Sorry for the lack of posts, We’ve been a little swamped. Eiki Larry, Lazz, Paxson, Ron and I are all in Hood right now working on a couple things. We arrived in town two days ago, Windells is just all time right now, expect a ton of updates from here in the next few days. Yesterday we had a great day of top to bottom shredding followed by some skating at camp for Go Skateboarding Day. Back at the condo Eiki thought Larry needed a shower so he pulled the ole exploding beer trick on him……
