Where are you from, where you at?

I grew up in Glacier, Washington and moved to the big city of Bellingham 4 years ago.

How long have you been riding?

My parents gave me a snowboard for Christmas when I was four.

What’s your set up?

Regular, 23” wide, +21 and -9.

Do you customize your gear in anyway?

I put an extra inch of cant on my front binding to help keep my knees bent in.

What was your favorite spot you filmed at for The Shred Remains, and why?

Riding with BJ and MFR in Pemberton, BC was one of the best memories from last season.

Most memorable new trick you landed for the first time?

Backside 180 method.

Spending so much time in hotels, what’s your fear level of bed bugs on a scale of 1-10?

I try and ignore thoughts like that, it’s useless.

What would your perfect, “no cameras”, day of snowboarding be?

Baker, foot or so of new pow, and my homies and I shredding from first to last chair.

Any pre-shred “go to” meal?

Bagels from the Fuely on the way to the hill.

Any snowboard superstitions you believe in?

Last run callouts are the only one for me.

Snow porn or real porn?

Real porn

All expense paid vacation anywhere, where would you go?

Somewhere tropical…Bali maybe.

Craziest riding experience from last season?

I jumped out of a heli in AK onto a tiny knife edge ridge. After I got my shit together I took one step towards my line, and the floor dropped away beneath me and I fell into a hole in between the back of the cornice and the mountain. I managed to scramble out, but that was sketchy.

Best and worst thing about snowboarding right now?

Best: Snowboarding as much as possible. Worst: Giving up pow turns to do your job.

Where do you plan on spending next season?

Hopefully I’ll be in BC for the majority of the season, with a good AK trip in April.
