Where are you from, where you at?I’m originally from Mt. Shasta, and then I moved to Bend, Hood, and Tahoe. Now I’m out in Breckenridge.
How long have you been riding?I’ve been riding for 14 years.
What’s your set up?Regular, 24” wide, +15,-15 angles and I usually take a file to the contact points a little bit.
Do you customize your gear in anyway?Not really. Rome’s gear comes ready to rip right out of the box.
Most memorable new trick you landed for the first time?Maybe the first time I got a grab on a FS 3. It was more like a tap, but I still remember being stoked out of my mind. It was a definite turning point in my life.
What’s your typical post shred location?The couch if I’m lucky, and work if I’m not.
How would you describe your style?Tall, aggressive, and all or nothing.
Any snowboard superstitions you believe in?Yeah, I try to never think of injuries or getting injured while I’m riding.
Snow porn or real porn?Both are great but never at the same time.
All expense paid vacation anywhere, where would you go?Right now I’d probably go shred some pow in Chile or Argentina.
Craziest riding experience from last season?Getting to sessions with Bjorn at Superpark and Boreal was pretty unreal.
Best and worst thing about snowboarding right now?Best: The fact that snowboarding is the best thing in the world. Worst: The people who let being really good or blowing up in the industry get to their heads. After all, we’re all just sliding sideways on snow.
Where do you plan on spending next season?Hopefully in the backcountry building pow booters. I’m also really looking forward to some Breck and Keystone park riding.
