Where are you from, where you at?

From Cumberland on the outskirts of Ottawa Ontario, Right now I’m on Vancouver Island in a place called Sooke.

How long have you been riding?

14 Years

What’s your set up?

Got the 22 and a half inch stance, angles are +15, -15, and I ride regular.

Do you customize your gear in anyway?

I fiddle around with my highbacks so that I am always slightly on my toes. I do that so when I land off anything the weight is not so abrupt on my ankles and it’s distributed evenly through my knees, ankles and muscles. I had ankle surgery a few years back and now I’m always thinking about preservation.

Most memorable new trick you landed for the first time?

Switch back 9s, first trick I never fell on first attempt. It’s like I knew how to do them all along; this made me very happy indeed.

Any pre-shred “go to” meal?

Breakfast sandwich and a cup of joe or two.

What’s your typical post shred location?

First things first, make a fire, get into sweat pants, grab a guitar and then jam out with my roommate on the couch.

How would you describe your style?

Collected.

Any snowboard superstitions you believe in?

Never ever call last run, long johns always, and I smear dog shit on my bindings so when I stomp I can really smell the stomp and shit goes everywhere.

Snow porn or real porn?

Real porn is time efficient, but snow porn gets you hyped to shred, soooo I guess it all depends on your schedule.

All expense paid vacation anywhere, where would you go?

Salulita, Mexico for some surfing and fish tacos. That’s my all time favs.

Best and worst thing about snowboarding right now?

Best: Music. Worst: Cool guys.

Where do you plan on spending next season?

Vancouver, the scene there is pretty tight and I will be in a good spot for travelling.
