Where are you from, where you at?

Born and raised in Calgary and this past season I made the move out west to Whistler.

How long have you been riding?

10 years

What’s your set up?

Regular, 22.5” wide, +12, and -12 angles, and detuned between the feet.

Do you customize your gear in anyway?

I usually make my highbacks parallel with my heel edge so I can tweak real hard.

Most memorable new trick you landed for the first time?

When I was 15 or 16 I landed a BS rodeo the first time I ever tried it, usually it takes a few slams to learn a trick so that was rad.

Any pre-shred “go to” meal?

Coffee, bagel and eggs at home or anything from Tim Hortons!

What’s your typical post shred location?

In the summer it’s definitely the lake or the skate park. In the winter it’s my couch for sure.

How would you describe your style?

I like to think I look relaxed.

Any snowboard superstitions you believe in?

I hate last runs, and I have a few pairs of lucky socks too.

Snow porn or real porn?

Snow.

All expense paid vacation anywhere, where would you go?

I’ve always wanted to go on a month long surf trip. So I think I’d go to Bali and stay in the bossiest hotel available.

Craziest riding experience from last season?

The last two weeks of my season were insane. I went to Superpark thinking it was my last trip of the year, until I met Ron and Cavan. They invited me to come out to Boreal to shred with the Rome team. It was the best trip for me of the season, hanging out and filming with the Rome team was a blast and then I ended that trip by blowing my femur into 4 pieces. It was definitely the craziest most memorable trip of my life so far.

Best and worst thing about snowboarding right now?

Best: The rate of progression, it’s so sick for snowboarding. Worst: That progression is causing so many people to get injured more often because of how hard everyone is pushing themselves.

Where do you plan on spending next season?

I’m going to be living in whistler sledding and filming as much as possible when I’m not on the road doing contests.

Any shout outs?

Andre, Simon, Woon and E-stone from Nomis. Birnie from Dragon, Alex and Bobby from Vans. I want to say thanks to Aby and Derek for hooking it up this year. Ron and Cavan from Rome, and my family. I wouldn’t be anywhere without all these people.
