It doesn’t matter if its cloudy or sunny, if there is a perfect shaped park or just a bunch of bumps, if I’m cruisin’ fresh pow or being at a dirty mini-jib trashyard. As long as im there with my friends, I will have the best day of my life! THIS is SNOWBOARDING!!!!

I thank God for it and consider it a privilege to be able to ride good snow quite often. I love the feel of laying down a good line in good snow. Riding pow with family and friends, with no given agenda is what I like most about snowboarding.

Snowboarding is what I live for, just like skateboarding. I think about snowboarding 24/7. If I'm not snowboarding I don't know what to do. If I watch TV, I watch a snowboard or a skateboard video. Snowboarding and skateboarding are my life. That’s all I can say.

I still think it’s about rebellion. Snowboarding is being able to have a fun time with friends and at the same time piss off that stuck-up security guard or old-school skier in the lift line…. I dunno, this question is hard to answer. I think it should be changed to "What do mustaches mean to me?” In that case my answer would be the same, rebellion.

Snowboarding is a blinding faceshot powder landing. One that you sink up to your waist on, but ride out. It is also when you get a method or tweak just right. That feeling of flying through the air, really cranking it out and holding it.

It's more than shakas and powder turns, although, you can't discredit those either. Snowboarding, simply put, is every sincere action with a deck strapped to your feet or sincerely thinking about it. Be it a hug or crail grab. But, if it's not sincere, then it's some bastardized antonym of snowboarding that's uninviting and usually self-interested.

Every decision I have made in my life has involved snowboarding. Music and skateboarding started me on the right thought, but snowboarding influenced the car I drive, the college I attended, the job I have, the friends I made, and even my wife.

To me snowboarding is about self expression and individuality. I don’t care if you wear tight pants and hit jumps or baggy pants and ride rails, or if you are a beginner trying to figure out how to hit a 10 foot jump or a pro negotiating a 90 footer. It is all about being you. That’s what I love about snowboarding.

At the beginning, snowboarding meant everything. I spent every possible moment riding. If I wasn't snowboarding I was talking about it, thinking about the next run, dreaming about it. Then snowboarding became a job. Freeriding days with friends became the exception where they had previously been the rule. This only fed my stoke for the sport. It became an issue of quality over quantity.

Snowboarding—for me, it’s about riding variable terrain fast and dropping cliffs, doing it fluidly so you blend with nature. It's about hanging with friends, and riding because it feels good. Top to park in Mammoth and the Verbier competition has got to be my favorite times.
