Give us a quick run-down of your shop and its history.
Totally Board started in 1994 and I bought it in 2001. We are totally dedicated to board sports only. The store is owned and run by snowboarders and skaters.

What is it about your shop that keeps the local shreds coming back to get all their gear?
Our shop is core and we are focused on friendly customer service. We have over 15 years of experience that keep our customers coming back for more. Every staff member is knowledgeable about the product we sell and can give good feedback to the consumers.
Describe your local shop crew; do you often have people hanging out at the shop?
Our shop crew is down to earth, friendly and knowledgeable. We have people hanging out at the shop from the local grom to pros like Jeremy Jones, Mikey Leblanc, and the likes of Danny Davis.
What is it about your shop that sets it apart?
The vibe inside our shop is what sets us apart. We are truly one of the last core stores around.
What’s your current set up?
Our current setup is a mixture of softgoods in the front of our store with hardgoods in the center and a complete repair shop in the back of our store. About 1/3 of our floor space is dedicated to the female enthusiast.
Crazy customers make for good stories, got any really good ones from the past season?
We have too many crazy customer stories. About 1 every day.
Any up and coming shop riders to keep an eye on?
Shop riders like Andrew Irwin, Brett Davis (Donkie) and Taylor Carlton are the ones to keep your eye on this year. Allyson Carroll, Bryon Shuey and Andy Lewis should also be throwing down this year.
What’s your local spot for lunch/dinner how about your evening hangout zone.
Local spot for lunch is Taco's Jalisco and evening hangout would be the Tourist Club or Bar of America.
What are your off-seasons like in the shop?
Offseason in the shop is downtime and building skateboards and dreaming of winter.
Do you remember buying your first kit? How do your early snowboard purchasing experiences affect how you sell snowboards?
First kit- Soreal boots and a Sims board.
What’s the hardest part of working in the shop?
Hardest part of working at the shop is when it dumps and I have to stay at the shop when I want to be out shredding.

We hear do you have any free stickers the most.
What’s the piece of Rome gear you guys get asked about most often?
Most asked Rome gear is the 390 binding.
What’s the closest shred spot to the shop? What’s your local shred scene like?
Northstar at Tahoe is the closest resort.
Describe your local’s run, hot lap or secret pow stash.
Our local secret pow stash is? It wouldn't be secret anymore if I told you.
What’s the worst thing or strangest thing you’ve ever seen brought in for a repair or tune up as far as snowboard equipment goes?
Strangest thing for repair was a set of skis?
Do you get out on the hill enough to make you happy?
NO. I wish I could ride everyday.
Any celebrity or pseudo-celebrity sightings ever happen in the shop?
Celebrity status. Mike Crukow, the Giants baseball announcer shops frequently and Robin Williams usually comes in once a year.
