Mountain Riders Profile

What makes your shop different then all the others?

We feel like we offer a pretty relaxed atmosphere where people can go for quality product and great knowledge.

Does your shop carry skate and surf or is it all snow? Briefly describe what we can find on the shelves.

When the snow is falling we’re pretty focused on all aspects of snowboarding. Boards, boots, bindings and apparel, but come spring it’s all skateboards, mountain bikes, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards.

What are three things it takes to work in the store?

  1. Personality
  2. Brand knowledge
  3. Riding ability

If it’s a hammering snow day and some of the best pow ever, what do you do to keep employees in the store?

We chain them to the register. No friends on a powder day.

Describe your crew that works there.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and fun loving pranksters.

Who are some riders on the come-up that visit your shop... a rider people should look out for?

Casey Savage, Taylor Spaulding, and John Garout kill it daily

Where is the shop local hang out? The best place to grab a drink after hours, or chill with some friends?

The Loft Tavern and The Killarney tend to be our homes away from home. Great food, great beer and they don’t kick us out for being idiots.

If the Rome crew came through would you be cautious to let them in or does the reputation surpass them?

The Rome crew is welcome anytime. We’re well prepared.
