PowerAmp Technology
In our Airpop core matrices, we map bamboo laminates into targeted regions of the core to increase power and amplitude. In some mapping patterns, we control for ollie height and increased pop off the lip of a jump. In others, we control for added torsional kick for freeriding.
- Centerline Twin Mapping: added ollie and nollie pop, without unwanted torsional stiffness
- Torque Mapping: pre-curved bamboo loads up with energy for our highest level torsional power
- Dual Inline Mapping: placement of inline bamboo near both rails adds a touch of torsional pop while seriously upping longitudinal amplitude
- Centerline Tail Mapping: power in the tail for slashing cornices and clearing ropes more easily, without unwanted torsional stiffness

Targeted Density Control
Targeted Density Control is our design approach where we located woods with specific densities for specific benefits on the hill.
- LDC: Light boards are better. Low Density Control is used to strategically implement low density woods for even more weight reduction in 2009.
- HDC: In High Density Control, we place wood species that increase stiffness along the edges for higher edge grip, and in the insert region to increase strength.
