Quiver
Despite what some brands might want you to think, no single camber profile works best for every type of shredding. You’ll always compromise fun somewhere on the hill if you try to force one thing to do it all.
Unless you like to ride the same exact way every day, quivers make sense in snowboarding.
At the Design House, we’ve created a quiver of camber profiles because we know that different types of riding demand different camber lines. It really all boils down to the feel that you are looking for. Do you want precision and power, or do you want a super loose, playful vibe? Do you want something in between the two extremes? Or even something that is specific to scoring face shots? How and where we load or unload camber has a massive impact on how a board feels and responds under foot.
At Rome, our quiver of pleasure-specific camber profiles covers the spectrum from reverse camber to positive camber. We then further control for feel within our 1985 reverse camber spectrum by creating three different profiles for three different types of shred fun.
