Around the World with Marius

I’m super stoked that I’ve been lucky enough to do some serious traveling this summer. Shredding the globe and taking care of both hemispheres.

I started out at Mt. Hood for some fun summer shredding and a taste of the camp life. Then I headed down below the equator to New Zealand to get some shooting in. The snow was pretty good this year, but the weather shut us down on our heli plans for the most part, which was a bummer. We had one day up in the metal bird, but got shut down fast because of bad weather rolling in, so instead we shredded the local ski resorts in the area.
When the weather came in we filled our down time hanging out at Shooters playing pool and having some drinks. Yeah, there isn't much to do in Wanaka on bad weather days, so instead you get sucked into the party scene. Not that I mind.

After NZ the plane took me to Santiago, Chile where I met up with photographer Eric Bergeri. The trip was made up of lots of pisco (the local drink of choice….tastes like shit!), some really good powder days, lots of BBQ and good hang all around.

Summer has been really great so far. Next on the agenda is ASR, and the No Correct Way world premiere, hopefully I’ll be able to get some surfing in as well.

Cheers!!!
