Well, it snowed yesterday up at Snoqualmie, so the mystical woods were a little too wet for hand painting Rome’s new Magic Bus.
Well, it snowed yesterday up at Snoqualmie, so the mystical woods were a little too wet for hand painting Rome’s new Magic Bus.
Today, somewhere in the mystical woods near Snoqualmie, the Magic Bus getting its new paint job at the hands of Rome designer Joel Brinson, Portland gallery co-owner Seth Neefus, his brother Casey, Dirty Joel, and Runke. By the end of the day, everything will be in place to hit the road.
And tomorrow, the Magic Bus Trip begins: this weekend, riders in Washington and Oregon will have a chance to shred with the Rome team.
With the snow melting as 2008 winds down, it’s time for a road trip with the riders from the Rome SDS.
The Crew is heavy and still posted up in Revelstoke B.C. filming for No Correct Way. Stay tuned as they maximize the last couple weeks of winter up in Northern BC.
It was a snowy start for day three at the BRITS, Wednesday 3rd April for the highly anticipated SNO!zone British Halfpipe Championships in Laax, but the weather didn’t dampen rider’s spirits with a selection of World Class Halfpipe runs being thrown down.
Sunday Sunday Sunday! A day typically reserved for church and coliseum events that will sell you the whole seat when you will only need the edge, turned out to be a great time to Amp the Stoke.
Greeted with a high overcast skies and a massive snow pack, Jeff and his park crew had some rad features set-up.
Saturday March 15th Echo Mountain Park was the host to the second annual Stoken. 40 plus riders were in attendance, shredder age ranged from 8 to 24.
Despite a gloomy forecast we arrived to bluebird skies, and a radical setup for the Stoken.
Ever had those days (or trips, or years) of snowboarding where the snow is just ok, or the terrain is kinda boring, or the weather kinda sucks….but you still have a great time because you make the best of it and its still better than sitting in school or being at work? To some snow shredders these days are spoiled and don’t understand how to make the best of what is given to them.
Snowmobiles, mayhem, booze, fireballs, and the infamous Gauntlet: The World Quarter Pipe Championships have returned with a vengeance.
There used to be a sticker that would pop up every year at the US Open that read, “Don’t Piss off the Locals”. Well, Monday at the World Quarters those locals that the stickers were talking about came out to party and cheer on the World Quarters as only rowdy Vermonters can. When the idea began kicking around of reviving the infamous World Quarters, people started groaning things like: “No ski area will host it”, “No one can build it”, “Will anyone even show up?” The crew at Timber Ridge answered all of those questions this past Monday as the World Quarters came back with a bang.
Big Congratulations to DAC Team Rider Alex Coudray who finished 2nd in the world rankings of the Freeride World Tour.
