Congrats goes to Iris and Johnny Lazzareschi for killing it over at the Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam Championships at Mammoth Mountain in Califorrnia. Iris took second in the girls division and grabbed 2k. Johnny grabbed first place in the open division and took home a little over 5 grand, what looks to be some delicious tacos.
With a little luck from Mother Nature we got set up with some amazing weather yesterday. As the bus rolled into the Summit-at-Snoqualmie, the crew got ready for its first day of shred.
Well, it snowed yesterday up at Snoqualmie, so the mystical woods were a little too wet for hand painting Rome’s new Magic Bus.
Today, somewhere in the mystical woods near Snoqualmie, the Magic Bus getting its new paint job at the hands of Rome designer Joel Brinson, Portland gallery co-owner Seth Neefus, his brother Casey, Dirty Joel, and Runke. By the end of the day, everything will be in place to hit the road.
And tomorrow, the Magic Bus Trip begins: this weekend, riders in Washington and Oregon will have a chance to shred with the Rome team.
With the snow melting as 2008 winds down, it’s time for a road trip with the riders from the Rome SDS.
The Crew is heavy and still posted up in Revelstoke B.C. filming for No Correct Way. Stay tuned as they maximize the last couple weeks of winter up in Northern BC.
It was a snowy start for day three at the BRITS, Wednesday 3rd April for the highly anticipated SNO!zone British Halfpipe Championships in Laax, but the weather didn’t dampen rider’s spirits with a selection of World Class Halfpipe runs being thrown down.
