According to the internet, Ullr traveled around in a ship made out of bone, and was mentioned in the eighth century epic poem "Beowulf." Any shop named after this dude is OK in our book, so we sat down with Uller's own Ivory Moore for the latest Shop Girl of the Week.
Ima Betta Jibba is back for the third year in a row. This year however, we’ve added a second division for those who aren’t neck-deep in the best four (to five or six) years of their lives. The SDS has decided to open this competition to anyone and everyone who wants to enter and show us their backyard park. Two winners will be chosen: one from the college division and one from the open division. With two winners possible, this means more chances to take home a couple Rome Snowboards and a backyard rail session with the pros.
Here's an edit of LNP's full part from the Shred Remains, to put you in the holiday spirit.
By the power vested in the Rome Snowboard Design Syndicate, we proudly proclaim December 26th International Stoke Your Shop Day! Because if Hallmark can make up things like Administrative Professional’s Day and Boss’ Day, it seems like we have the same ability.
Stale lives quite the life. One day he could be chasing girls in Oslo, the next day he’s shredding in China, and the day after that he could be on a beach somewhere in Bali. The Norwegian youngster is quietly becoming one of the most deadly double threats in snowboarding. He could podium in a big air event or grab a banger in front of the cameras for a video part. Stale is super well rounded and right now he’s having the time of his life. We caught up with him the other day in between traveling to see just what he’s been up to.
Re-up on video gear, get your crew together, and stack footy this season because the Rome SDS is proud to announce the 6th addition of The Local GNAR contest. With $1000 up for grabs and tons of products for the finalists why wouldn’t you submit an edit? Over the last five years we have seen some impressive entries and every year they continue to get better. This year could be your chance to make internet gold and submit a winner!
Walking away with the opening spot in The Shred Remains is just one more thing for Johnny Lazz to put under his belt. As this season ramps up with increasing snow fall, we thought you might like the chance to pick his brain and ask a few questions. You’ll be able to get answers in real time right on the Rome Facebook Page.
Lake Tahoe had received some early storms this season but the cloud seeder turned off early. With only inches of natural snow, mountains had to resort to East coast tactics and start up the guns for some manmade snow.

While on The Shred Remains world premier tour, marketing coordinator Grady Skelton was able to spend some time with Rome regional rider Christopher Frost. As a team rider for the SLC based shop, Salty Peaks, he was able to throw together an impressive rookie video part and get some sold shots on the hill and in the streets. Get to know Chris Frost in this edition of Locals Only – SLC Utah.
Not many folks can say they've been riding the same bindings for 4 years now, and even less of them can claim that they're the 390 Bowie edition. We got a call from JF Poirier at Boardertech and he pretty much was the perfect candidate for a quick interview. We're stoked to call him this week's Shop Guy of the Week.
This year the crew spent some serious time in the Midwest. LNP, Johnny Lazz, and photographer Jeff Patterson spent some time with Midwest locs Marie Hucal, Viktor Simco, and Cam Strand gettin’ stuff done.
The Mid-Atlantic crew has been on the road checking in with shops and getting ready for the season to kick off here on the East coast. It was a no brainer to catch up with some of the guys from Lifted out in Rome, NY, for the latest Shop Guy of the Week.
It's a busy time of year, but it's awesome to check in with shops and see what's going on. During the latest shop visit, Rockies rep Seth took some time out of his crazy schedule to sit down with Dan Downing out at Satellite in Boulder for this week's Shop guy of the Week.
One of the first few stops on The Shred Remains tour was Montreal. We met up with Laurent, Marie, and Will, as well as all the guys up at Empire. They are a solid crew, so we got a chance to sit down with Charles before the heading down to the showing of the movie for this week's Shop Guy of the Week.
