POWERBARS AND STRINGER TECHNOLOGY

To add some extra pop to go with that flex, we utilize our PowerBars and our Stringer Technology in different ways to add freestyle-specific or freeride-specific response in different board models. Different configurations of carbon, basalt and fiberglass transmit rider energy to target responsiveness in different ways.

1. PowerBars Carbon V

   In our boards where we want a ton of energy release off the tail (Anthem SS, Notch, Whiteroom and Anthem), we lay in pre-formed bands of carbon in a pattern radiating from inserts to edges at the contact points for both torsional and longitudinal power.

2. Carbon V Stringer Technology

   The lightweight, super-poppy combo of longitudinal and torsional energy release.

3. Basalt (BST) Torque Stringer Technology

   Light, strong basalt fibers are light and strong maximize torsional snap for edge-to-edge quickness and power.

4. Glass V Stringer Technology

   A touch more torsional snap and ollie/nollie pop for high-energy freestyle riding all over the mountain.

5. Glass Reverse-V Stringer Technology

   Pop-enhancing technology that increases ollie and nollie pop while still keeping it torsionally loose and buttery—perfect for jib boards where playful is the priority.
