Back when Rome launched 10+ years ago, we introduced a concept called “Profiled Transition Zones” where we controlled the length and shape of transition zones to adjust board feel. ButterOut Transition Zones are the 2013 incarnation of this concept—we elongated the transition zone to create a smoother, more pressable, less catchy feel for easy pre-spins and fun-timey snowboarding that is engineered for park and all-mountain play.
