Well, winter is happening here in Northern New England.   Stowe has been getting snow since about Christmas Day.  Through the  power of modern snowmaking and grooming, you may not think it looking at your backyard, winter is here.

Above was some of the all-natural terrain (no snowmaking, no grooming, etc. )  that I rode this morning.

So it’s happening… may not be as epic or unforgettable as last year but it’s there for the taking.

This is what Liftline at Stowe looked like on Tuesday.

We had over a foot of snow a week ago. The guns are on now but I’m impatient.

But seriously who cares, because it might snow up to a half foot up on the mountain this week / weekend. Carpet boarding season is almost over!
