Spooky Halloween Blog….Ooooooooo
Thursday, October 29th, 2009
It’s well documented that the town of Waterbury, VT, where Rome is located, there was a pretty big mental hospital.. Anyhoo, down the road about a mile from Rome are these trails that are super dope to mountain bike on and hike or whatever.
Off the trail about 100 yards if you know where to look, lies this headstone….no joke.

Seriously…read this shit. So… 20 or so? You don’t know how many McMurphy’s and Chief Bromden’s you dropped in a hole there Nurse Ratchet? Congratulations on the failed electro shock therapy sessions there Wat.
So. If anyone’s into having a fun Halloween, meet me at the tombstone up in the trails, I’ll be lighting candles, blasting some Rammstein and playing Ouija board, sacrificing something most likely.

In case you can’t read it:
“This beautiful knoll overlooking the grounds of the Vermont state hospital is matched in splendor only by the twenty or so residents of the hospital who were buried here between 1891 and 1912. May their spirits soar. You are remembered. Dedicated 1991′
14 Stairs session
Thursday, October 29th, 2009
I woke up yesterday and there was snow everywhere. I wanted to ride something in the village but nobody could come for a reason. I decided to go solo.
I took it easy since it was the first session of the season (october 28,09) . I found that small wooden rail with natural speed, it took me 10mins to set up.

Rock and Roll Tuesday : L7 !!!
Tuesday, October 27th, 2009
Enough of the sausage party here at Rock and Roll Tuesday. L7 was one of the hardest bands around during the grungy 90s. I think I wanted to be a groupie for them when I was 14… they rocked…
If they do a reunion tour I may try and be a roadie for them..
IMO EMO bands suck (these girls would kick any EMO band’s ass), so instead, enjoy some Rock and Roll!!!

Rock and Roll Tuesday : Serpent Throne !!!!
Tuesday, October 20th, 2009
Serpent Throne is a local bar band from Philadelphia. No major record deal, no lead singer, just four guys, and loud amps. I don’t really know anything else about them. But when I heard this song, I thought they belonged on Rock and Roll Tuesday!
They have two albums out and I’m going to try and get one tomorrow. I think I’m going to like it. Rock and Roll needs more bands like this!
Nothing against dance music but you are not going to hear it here on Tuesdays, so instead enjoy some Rock and Roll !!!
