Highback Geometrics

In order to kill lag time between thought and response, the spine and side-to-side shaping of our highbacks matches up with the backstay of your boot and how you move. On the new 390 Asym Highback, inward “canting” lines up bio-mechanically with your neutral stance.

3D Ankle Straps

Our ankle straps are 3D-contoured to lock into the front of your ankle joint for comfort and immediate response.

V-Rod, UnderWrap.1 and Unibody Baseplates

Short-fiber, glass-filled nylon is used on the V-Rod and UnderWrap.1 baseplates to dial in the correct power-flex ratio for our UnderWrap bindings, while lightweight polycarbonate is used in the Unibody bindings for quickness and smooth flexibility.

InBase V-Rod and InBase Padding

The V-Rod’s version of the InBase padding maximizes the zones where EVA connects your boot to the board—the result is a lighter set up, increased feel and dampening for hard landings. The traditional InBase Padding dampens vibration and absorbs shock.

SubBase V and SubBase Padding

To reduce chatter and improve feel, we put a thin rubber gasket between your binding and board. The SubBase V on the V-Rod increases progressive flex at the medial rear corner and lateral front corner.
