V-Rod Underwrap

Natural Board Flex, Side-to-Side Binding Flex, Toe-to-Heel Power

  • A smaller binding footprint (110mm): This delivers more natural board flex since the binding creates a smaller “dead” spot.
  • Raised corners to create a V-shape (4mm in the medial rear corner and 2mm in the lateral front corner): This delivers progressive side-to-side flex for board feel and tweakage.
  • A “rod” between your toe and the lateral side of your heel: This delivers the un-adulterated toe-to-heel power that snowboarding demands.
  • Advanced EVA-to-board contact: This delivers advanced levels of feel and cushioning.

YES, I CANT SYSTEM

Anatomically-Correct Stances with Power in the Nose and Tail

The only adjustable inbase canting system in snowboarding. Three inter-changeable pads in the Targa and 390 Boss let you pick 0-degrees, 2-degrees or 3.5-degrees for advanced levels of Flex With Pop and Customization. Some riders prefer canting for two primary reasons:

  1. Increased power input into the nose and tail of your board, especially for rocker boards that benefit from more pressure into those regions.
  2. A more anatomically correct and comfortable knee positioning for wide stances—less stress on the knee.

HIGHBACK DESIGN

All our lightweight highbacks feature a geometry that matches the spine of our boots for seamless power transfer. Just the right height, and with 0-degrees to 24-degrees forward lean, they let YOU dial down or dial up the power. Two new designs enter the line this year. The Targa’s new AntiShock Highback that provides a suspension system and the Mob’s new superlight pre-canted highback. Flex With Pop—for freedom and heelside precision.

PF ADJUST ANKLE STRAP

Choose your own ankle strap flex. Two interchangeable EVA inserts of different durometers (45D and 65D) let you select from three different levels of support for your toeside pleasures. Advanced Customization.

UNDERWRAP HEEL HOOPS

The trademark power-with-flex structure that Rome brought to snowboarding. Lightweight aluminum pulls up on the toe region of the baseplate to add leverage on heelside turns and it channels power directly into the toeside edge when you lean into the ankle strap. A torsionally forgiving design maintains side-to-side flex while providing this toe-to-heel power. This is a foundation of Flex With Pop.
